I'm here at a friends house.
I'm busy doing my own stuff but thought i'm taking a break.
He's playing GTA V ONLINE, driving races.
He's constantly bitching about these guys who keep bumping him,
complaining that if he wanted to play a game *that* way,
they should have called it Crash online or something. ^_^
Quite interesting. I am trying to explain it to him,
but he's pretty much unreachable.
He's proud of his "Clean Player" status or something in GTA V ONLINE,
and although i believe that's ridiculous, i accept that he is.
He's 20 and used to pretty much everything else than EvE,
which he has tried and he was ... *drumsrolls* a miner.
I don't really know anything else he did, besides that,
because that's all he told me.
Maybe i should have pushed him, but considering how he is bitching now,
it probably was a good idea i didn't. xD
He stopped already anyway, afaik.
What i need to add is that he calls these other players "Griefers" ...
It's really silly. ^_^ |

Rain ... if you'd listen to him, you'd not say anything too.
He plays 1vs1 deathmatches right now ... and when he wins,
the other guy mostly is a noob ...
And now his opponent outsmarts him considerably...
"He has a car ! I HAVE NO CAR ! THAT'S SO UNFAIR !!!"
... besides other things.
I really don't want to **** him off further. He's actually a nice guy,
but too spoiled by the "success" in other games.
It's somehow scary to listen to him, tbh. ^_^
Seriously, he's really mad right now. xD

I already pointed out that it's no use.
Anyhow, he's improving. Despite ragequtting yesterday,
he acknowledged some of his mistakes and will try to improve.

What wonders me the most is how he approaches the game in his mind.
Knowing it's GTA V, he completely dismissed my idea of trying to rob stores.
"Not possible" was his reply ... only to realize, after looking it up on the internet,
that it is indeed possible to rob stores ... and steal cares and sell them ...
His complaining about how people race, with the reasoning that
"They should call it Crash Derby and not Racing" shows that he puts his
belief of how the game should be above what the game actually works.
He has no open mind at all and is purely driven by gratification.
Very interesting.
Reminds me of every other clueless EvE player who has no idea what to do ... |

although i seriously doubt that. He might have meant lowsec.
